Our Roots: From Mud to Momentum 🌱

ReelPlay Center wasn’t created in a boardroom. It was born out of real life — out of mud, hard work, and a vision to give Pullman something better.

Our founder, Daniel, grew up right here in Pullman. Like so many kids in small towns, he often felt there was “nothing to do.” That boredom sometimes led to hanging out with the wrong crowd and getting pulled into things he shouldn’t have been involved in. He’ll tell you himself — he was once under the influence of the bad, caught in circles that didn’t build him up.

But life has a way of teaching lessons. Each wrong turn fueled a determination to someday create the kind of place that he wished existed when he was younger: a space that was safe, fun, affordable, and built for everyone.

Ironically, years before ReelPlay existed, Daniel worked in construction — pouring concrete for buildings across the county. One of those jobs was the foundation for the very site that would become ReelPlay Center. He had no idea then, but he was literally laying the groundwork for his future.

We opened in October 2023 with a clear mission: to create a sober entertainment venue where families, teens, and adults can all enjoy themselves — without alcohol, without hangovers, and without breaking the bank.

ReelPlay is more than an arcade, more than a party space, more than a snack counter. It’s a sober bar with retro gaming and community vibes.
